I've just came back from https://hamburg2026.mini.debconf.org/ where
we discussed and prepared this and where I also gave a talk announcing
and explaining this change:

I'm super excited that we have finally reached this stage! Now it will
only be a few more years until a Debian release with 42k source packages
being bit by bit reproducible on all eight CPU architectures! \o/
