diffoscope 220 released 💠

Hi,

The diffoscope maintainers are pleased to announce the release of
version 220 of diffoscope.

diffoscope tries to get to the bottom of what makes files or
directories different. It will recursively unpack archives of many
kinds and transform various binary formats into more human-readable
form to compare them. It can compare two tarballs, ISO images, or PDF
just as easily.

Version 220 includes the following changes:

  * Support Haskell 9.x series files and update the test files to match. Thanks
    to Scott Talbert for the relevant info about the new format.

  * Fix a regression introduced in diffoscope version 207 where diffoscope
    would crash if one directory contained a directory that wasn't in the
    other. Thanks to Alderico Gallo for the report and the testcase.

## Download

Version 220 is available from Debian unstable as well as PyPI, and
will shortly be available on other platforms surely. More details can
be found here:

The corresponding Docker image may be run via (for example):
