I researched a bit more into the problem, and it turned out
to be a bit more complex.

The first font-family on the site is called „Raleway“, and
it’s a font designed in 2011 for the League of Movable Type.
It originally only featured a „thin“ weight.
In 2012/13 it was taken up by other designers and lots of
weights were added. Still, the league only features the
original version, which I had installed.

I went forward and patched my distribution’s version in the
meantime (https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/19573),
but other users of the league fonts might not be so lucky.

I suggest updating the font definitions of the website to
request the „regular“ weight of Raleway and fall back to
other fonts if that is not available.
