I was surprised when I first heard setting S_D_E to 0 or then to 1, but I
havent really heard downsides to that. I do think that setting S_D_E to the
real value, the last modification of the source, has benefits, but in cases
where that is unclear/ambigious, IMO setting S_D_E to 1 is very fine.
