Need Help with duperemove in Debian

Hi,

I have recently taken over dupremove in Debian and have modernized and 
updated the package. However, it fails the reproducible step in Salsa 
CI:

Diffoscope's output has over 20 klines, most of when I can't make any 
sense out of. Can somebody please help here?
