I'm more likely to delete old data if a tarfile is not referenced by any
distro anymore, to keep the database compact. Acquiring historic data
can also be quite a challenge.

At the moment there are still a few tarfiles that need to be reindexed
because I didn't record permissions, uid/username/gid/groupname and
mtime in the first few iterations (you can access this data by appending
.json to an artifact url). The alias reason (e.g. `sha512(bz2(tar))`) is
available for 49% of hashes at the moment. When the data is more
homogeneous I'm planning to make a list of all links available to
friends who can upload .warc files to web.archive.org.

They could then be queried permanently like this:

https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://whatsrc.org/artifact/sha256:f42ee9efa489e9ff5d328baefa26f9c515be65021856e78d99ad1f0ead9ec85d

cheers,
