Now I understand even less what I'm seeing.

This sha256, which is the one that I get from my generated
hello-traditional, matches the one in
https://tests.reproducible-builds.org/debian/rb-pkg/bookworm/amd64/hello-traditional.html
in Checksums-Sha256:
 f712bac966e8fc2d1660bc5d61328a8e9f8354a93c119bb2137169dbdaeb22ab 56828 hello-traditional_2.10-6_amd64.deb

So I'm reproducing it!

But the one in Debian is not matching:

$ wget2 http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/h/hello-traditional/hello-traditional_2.10-6_amd64.deb ; sha256sum hello-traditional_2.10-6_amd64.deb

I think that I'm missing some Debian infrastructure information on how
packages are being built...?

BTW, I'm not very familiar on Debian infrastructure... probably you have
noticed it!

Thanks very much,
