Dear Chris,

Thanks for your reply. Personally, I think buildinfo is a good and convenient way to generate a checksum for my artifact, which absolute solve my problem in just a minute. But I am just a little suspicious as not a lot of people mentioned such a good tool.

Never mind, I will just continue using this reproducible build plugin as it really fits my needs. Thanks again 😊

Perhaps we should zoom out a little bit first. Is there a particular reason why you think running that command isn't a good way to go about comparing checksums for your project? Does the output of "mvn artifact:buildinfo" not include what you were looking for…? Some more background about your reasoning would be really helpful; am asking these questions as it's not yet clear what the source of your hesitancy is, and therefore how we can help clear that up.
