Well just having a standard folder with architecture specific sub-folders would isolate them and 
flag them as generated performance information

It'll solve the reproducible problem but introduce a bootstrapping problem for how those files
were generated in the first place.

It is looking like another item for our growing pile of generated crap being distributed that is 
important to source code builds but may or may not be used to subvert builds which are hard to
audit... >.<

I wish there was a manner of producing handwritten human information which could be used
Instead of these generated files (or could be used to generate them in a reproducible fashion).
