yes, that's indeed the case, most of the stuff is already automated,
using shell and python, and munin monitoring and mail notifications
and $stuff.

so you could study this and i'd be happy to give you pointers and/or
explain specific questions on irc or list mail. and then you could
contribute with extending the existing but incomplete documentation.

or you could maybe help with getting this archlinux rebuilderd set up
set up on r-b.o infrastructure?

In Europe there are people prosecuted by courts because they saved other people
from drowning in the  Mediterranean Sea.  That is almost as absurd  as if there
were people being prosecuted because they save humans from drowning in the sea.
