Actually, I wouldn't call that a solution.
That will cause lock-in in a single gitlab installation (will we stay on
salsa.debian.org, migrate to gitlab.com, get our own instance? etc).
Sure once GitLab provides that feature we can _also_ upload the signed
tarballs there, but I'd rather it not be the only place. I'm actually
quite happy about my idea storing the tarballs in a git-lfs repository,
that will allow anyone to easily get a copy of all our archive, and can
easily made available anywhere.
