My apologies it wasn't clearer but the "affected more than us" was
more of an adjunct remark and not really my concern.

I still worry that any notification of the downtime isn't that
informative to our readers, particularly because the website is
hardly a core/essential thing we provide. It also implies the
outage was of truly non-trivial length and it moreover distracts
from the other stuff that was done this week.
