I have an opposing view here.
I think during the summit mapreri tried adding a 'distribution' field to
the tables in a test instance and it was not that hard.
This would avoid duplicating logic for every distribution involved and
the available fields already cover most use cases we have for openSUSE.
It would also make it a lot easier to make SQL queries like
'what is the reproducibility status of bash in any distribution'
without any further hacking for every added distribution.
And if very distribution-specific fields are required for something in
the future, those could still go into a separate table then.
