could you maybe create a branch (or two or three) in the spec git repo,
and put those suggestions in there? IMO it's totally fine to push to
git.debian.org/git/reproducible/source-date-epoch-spec.git just prefix
the branch names with "dkg/" or "dkg/clamping-proposals" or such.
I'm not convinced we'll get agreement on this online in the next four
weeks, but I'm rather confident those branches will be very helpful to
find consensus at the summit in 4 weeks in Berlin :)
